In 2009, Auburn Corporation started a multi-year window replacement project on the beautiful R.R. Donnelley building that was constructed between the years 1912-1929. Throughout this time over 800 windows were replaced while taking special care to replicate the steel frames with a custom-designed Wausau Window Wall System.

The Blackstone Hotel was designed by architect Benjamin Marshall, of Marshall and Fox, in 1909. The Blackstone Hotel has been dubbed “The Hotel of Presidents.” It was once considered one of Chicago’s finest luxury hotels, and a dozen 20th-century U.S presidents have stayed at the hotel.
One Prudential Plaza, formerly known as the Prudential Building, is a 41 story structure that began construction in 1952 and was completed in 1955. The Auburn Corporation completed the window installation project contracted to Jones Lang LaSalle with over 1200 new Wausau in-vent highly thermally efficient windows.
The W Hotel Chicago Lakeshore considered replacing their windows for many years, but it was only after Chesapeake Lodging Trust purchased the hotel that a complete renovation of the exterior and interior was undertaken. The Auburn Corporation played a critical part in the renovation, replacing 1400 windows in the building.
When it came time to replace the windows in the 60-year-old Northwestern University Library, Northwestern contracted with the Auburn Corporation for solutions to many issues they were having with the building.
The world’s first Virgin Hotel developed for Sir Richard Branson is located in the former Old Dearborn Bank Building.
The building is a Chicago historic landmark in the north loop area of Chicago. Auburn Corporation was selected as the window contractor and installed over 1100 Graham fixed offset windows to replicate in original double-hung design.
The City of Chicago and the Chicago Teachers Union had a decision to make regarding the learning environment of their students. Many of the old turn of the century and mid-century Chicago Public Schools were not air-conditioned. The Auburn Corporation has been selected as a contractor for phases of work in the CPS Air-conditioning Program.
